Single Mesh Gear Drive
This drive illustrates speed relations in a single-mesh, external, spur gear drive. A 48 tooth gear on an input shaft drives a 96-tooth gear on an output shaft with indicator. Useful in studying speed ratios and control of direction of rotation obtainable with gearing.
